Very reasonably priced and suitable for adding 'colour' to recordings

This item appears to be designed for children but it sounded pretty good for the recordings I was making. It doesn't have quite the full, sonorous tone of some woodblocks and may not suit a serious percussionist. However, it's very good value for money and should work well if you want to add a bit of 'colour' to recordings or accompanying an acoustic performance.
