The fun way to learn to play

The music2me Guitar Fretboard Stickers are a learning aid designed to help beginners get started playing guitar. Actually learning to read music is, in and of itself, not an easy task – and any budding guitarist faces the additional challenge of finding the notes they have only recently learnt on their new instrument's fingerboard. The music2me Fretboard Stickers help even beginners master this complex transfer of knowledge more quickly: And if young musicians' first steps with the guitar are both less time-consuming and less frustrating, they can get started playing their first songs more quickly, making it much more likely that they'll continue to enjoy playing the guitar in the long run.

A great learning aid at a low price

The stickers are designed for the first 12 frets as well as for the open strings, in a universal size suitable for all standard acoustic and electric guitars (not for classical concert guitars, however). Dedicated fret markings for the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, and twelfth frets provide a clear overview. Helpful diagrams listing the major and minor scales also give additional guidance for practising and getting to grips with the fingerboard as quickly as possible. The set includes a wooden tool with which the stickers can be applied easily. The stickers do not discolour even after intensive practising, and can be removed at any time without leaving any residue.

Learn notes faster

Thanks to the instructions included, placing the stickers on the correct spot on the guitar is easy. The colour scheme facilitates quicker orientation on the fingerboard, with each note assigned a colour. As a result, the right note can always be found with ease, no matter what key the player is in. What is more, the visual markings make it much simpler to practise scales and chords, as well as play those first songs, supporting young guitarists throughout the learning process by helping them to master the notes on the fingerboard in every key. With increasing confidence, the stickers can be removed gradually, until all the notes have been memorised.

Interesting and well priced method to know the freatboard.

It comes with some theorie. Applying with the wooden stick goes well. I was applying one fret too high the first time, it was not really clear in the manual. When applied, it is a litlle harder to slide accross your neck and find your way visually. But if you want to see the notes on each fret, that's unavoidable. I also applied at the downside of the neck some extra tape, because I rubbed some stickers loose.

If you want to study some deeper for a while, then this is definitely worth trying for the small price. Not interesting for always on.

It's too busy and it is hard to find what you're looking for.
As for the color coding... the F and G are both Green.

After 10 minutes, I had already removed it.
