Mooer Audio has taken its GE200 multi-effect modelling floorboard to the next level with the GE200 PRO, a comprehensive evolution of the 2017 original that brings enhanced sound quality, expanded features, and a sleek, modern design. New additions like Bluetooth connectivity, XLR outputs, a greatly increased selection of amp models, effects, and detailed mic and speaker simulations all come together to offer a richer, more versatile experience, while the looper now offers 60 seconds of capacity and a collection of 70 drum loops for added creative flexibility. Also suitable for use as a USB-C recording interface and powered by an integrated Li-ion battery that delivers up to 5.5 hours of operation without a mains power connection, the GE200 PRO is built for both studio and mobile use - and through it all, it maintains the same intuitive operation as its predecessor, guiding users effortlessly to their desired tones via a crisp 3.5" colour display.

Intuitive menu navigation

At the heart of the GE200 PRO is its vibrant 3.5" display, which serves as the main hub for selecting amp models, cabinets, effects, and all system parameters in one intuitive interface. Users can explore 286 different types, freely combine them to shape their sound, and expand the palette further with additional IRs from the Mooer cloud or by importing third-party IRs, all while taking advantage of up to 255 memory slots for storing custom setups. Five sturdy metal footswitches with coloured rings, paired with an LED bar that adds ambient lighting, ensure seamless control during performance, complemented by an integrated expression pedal that adds dynamic versatility. The GE200 PRO's connectivity is just as comprehensive, offering stereo outputs via jack and balanced XLR, a stereo FX loop, MIDI, headphone and expression pedal inputs, and a USB-C port for direct recording, and with Bluetooth 5.0 built in, wireless audio streaming also becomes effortless.

Despite its extensive feature set, sturdy build, and professional-grade sound quality, the Mooer GE200 PRO remains, like its predecessor, refreshingly affordable - a compact guitar workstation that will appeal not only to seasoned players but also to beginners eager to explore the world of impulse responses (IRs) and tone shaping without the frustration of complex controls and menu navigation. The Mooer GE200 PRO is also offered in a version with a built-in lithium-ion battery - the "GE200 PRO Li" - which provides up to 5.5 hours of wireless operation and is available from Thomann at a slightly higher price.

About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.

Da ich kein Profi an der Gitarre bin, mein Spiel an der E-Gitarre aber verbessern und auch mal live spielen möchte, habe ich mir zu meiner E-Gitarre dieses Board bestellt. Die Verpackung wie immer bei Thomann sehr hochwertig.
Das Gerät selbst kommt in einem robusten Karton.
Zum Gerät selbst:
-optisch sieht es sehr hochwertig aus. Die Verarbeitung ist meiner Meinung nach angemessen für diesen Preis. (Habe aber auch keinen Vergleich)
Die Bedienbarkeit erscheint logisch und mit wenigen Handgriffen sollte man die Software verstanden haben.
Ich selbst, der wenig Erfahrung mit muliteffecten hat, habe keine Probleme gehabt, das wichtigste in Kürze zu Verstehen.
Die integrieren Sounds sind für meinen Geschmack gut! Bestimmt lassen sich diese noch mit mehr Zeit und Aufwand auf den individuellen Geschmack verändern oder man kreiert eigene Sounds.
Für meine Anforderungen scheint es das optimale Gerät zu sein.
