Mojotone ST Standard Solderless Harness

I bought this set to replace 27-year old MIJ stratocaster Fujigen made electronics. I really like the sound of original ceramic pickups in the guitar and do not want to mess in any way with the aged detail they have, nor the guitar in general and that is why I chose the solderless harness. After installing this set I started playing and I immediately noticed the remarkable clarity and balance which had arrived. I would say the sound of the pickups are much more "alive" now. Never could have guessed just electronics can make this much of a difference! Also, of course all the crackling of the knobs is gone. And tone & volume knobs are now much more responsible and stable & the "feel of an expensive system" is surely here. Quality is american handmade, so made in detail as they promise. I'm sure I can go another 27 yrs with this setup :D
If you already like you guitar sound, but want to polish it more and get rid of the difficulties what old electronics bring, this is the best possible upgrade hands down. -Nothing is missing, but brought back up front.

Im Rahmen der Erneuerung der Single Coils meiner Fender Stratocaster, hatte ich mich entschlossen, auch den 5 Wege-Schalter, die Mono-Eingangsbuchse sowie die Potentiometer zu erneuern. Ich bin zwar des Lötens mächtig, bin aber bei meiner Suche bei Thomann auf das lötfreie Austauschset von Mojotone gestoßen und habe dieses dann umgehend bestellt, um mir den Einbau bzw. Austausch so einfach wie möglich zu gestalten. Einfach ist das passende Stichwort, der Einbau gestaltete sich wirklich sehr einfach. Das Verdrahtungsschema liegt der Sendung bei, sodass die Positionierung der Single Coil-Verdrahtung und der Eingangsbuchsen-Verdrahtung, unter der Beachtung der Polarität ( Hot and Ground), idiotensicher ist. Bei den flexiblen Kabeln der Single-Coils sollten die abisolierten Kabelenden mit Lötkolben und Lötzinn verfestigt werden, um das Stecken in die Klemmen zu vereinfachen. Die gesamte Aktion dauert ca. 1 Stunde, inkl. Saiten runternehmen Pickguard abschrauben, Set einbauen und alles wieder in spielbereiten Zustand zu versetzen. Von meiner Seite kann ich nur sagen: Daumen hoch, sehr empfehlenswert. Auch klanglich keinerlei Beeinträchtigung, im Gegenteil, ich bin der Meinung, der Sound ist deutlich besser.
