Rechargeable multi-power supply

The Mission Engineering 529i features eight individually isolated 9V outputs and a 5V DC USB output to reliably supply your pedalboard with power. What is more, it can be used to recharge mobile phones, tablets, and other USB devices without needing a mains connection, as its integrated reachargeable battery with a capacity of 8,000mA/h allows more than two hours of "off the grid" operation. If you want to, you can even cascade two 529i units and connect up to 16 pedals. The scope of delivery includes a power adapter for recharging the integrated battery, eight 9V DC cables, and an 18V voltage doubler cable for effects units with a higher power consumption.

For all effects from 9V to 18V

The Mission Engineering 529i is equipped with two 9V/500mA and six 9V/300mA outputs, despite which it still remains compact enough to be installed underneath your pedalboard. In addition to the "ON" switch and battery charge level display, the upper side of the unit also features individual LED indicators for the operating status of the effects that are connected to the respective power outputs. These are well protected against electrical shorts, and the individually isolated outputs also keep unwanted noise and hum to a bare minimum. The voltage doubler cable included in the scope of delivery connects two ports in series, which means that 18V effects can also be powered.

Wireless power for professionals

Professional users in particular know both how essential it is to have a stable power supply for their effects and how important it is for voltage fluctuations and unwanted noise to be prevented. With its eight 9V outputs and choice of two different current ratings, the Mission Engineering 529i rechargeable power supply is generously kitted out and fulfils these needs with complete reliability. What makes this power supply special, however, is its integrated rechargeable battery, which in many cases makes it possible to dispense with a mains power connection. Its 8,000mA capacity means it is powerful enough to supply even effects units that draw a large amount of current.

About Mission Engineering

Mission Engineering is an American company that was founded in California in 2009 and chiefly specialises in effects pedals. Since its acquisition of Stagecraft, however, Mission Engineering has also manufactured its own speaker cabinets as well as offering a range of digital amplifiers. Speaking of digital technology: Mission Engineering's expression pedals are optimised for use with digital amplifiers from all manufacturers. These pedals are manufactured in the USA and proudly boast high-quality metal housings. In addition to pedals, speakers, and full-range speaker cabinets, Mission Engineering's range also includes numerous accessories such as cables and pedalboard power supplies.

From the pedestrian precinct to the stage

Since the Mission Engineering 529i power supply features a high-powered rechargeable battery, it goes without saying that it truly comes into its own whenever obtaining access to a mains socket is either difficult or impossible. The unit can power up to eight effects pedals for several hours - which is generally enough for a whole gig. And it doesn't matter whether you are playing on a big stage or in the pedestrian precinct (where a battery-powered amplifier is the perfect companion). What is more, the 5V USB output is also a practical feature, as it can be used to charge mobile phones and tablets - devices that are frequently used for playing backing tracks or reading lyrics and arrangements.

Alimentation rechargeable et de qualité
degoedel 06.04.2020

Conclusion : (très) grosse déception.
