Millenium Laptopstand

I've been looking around for a portable stand for my Macbook. Many of them are not suitable if you're tall, like I am. With most stands, the angle of the notebook is such that the screen needs to tilt backward to point towards your eyes. The Macbooks have a limited tilt angle for the screen, which reduces your options.

I found this stand by coincidence, after much googling. It looked exactly like what I was looking for: simple, robust, elevating the whole notebook. I just couldn't believe the price though. It's barely EUR 15. As usually with Thomann, I received the order the next day, well protected in a big box.

The bottom and top of the stand have foam rubber strips. The whole thing feels very solid and doesn't slip on your desk. Also, it certainly won't scratch your notebook. I mainly bought this stand for work away from home. It's cheap and robust, and easy to assembly, so it's great for that purpose. For at home, I thought about buying a Rain Design mStand. However, this cheap stand actually looks great and it's easy to store when you don't use it for a while. I might just order another one :-)
