The Millenium Focus Junior Drum Set Black gives ambitious young drum talents everything they need to start playing their first beats "out of the box", so they can start drumming immediately after the kit has been unpacked, set up, and tuned. In addition to the five-piece shell set with a wooden snare drum, two cymbals (10" hi-hat and 12" crash/ride), all of the necessary stands including a hi-hat stand, a bass drum foot pedal, and a drum stool are included in the scope of delivery. In addition, the Focus Junior Set comes with a handy accessory set, consisting of a damping pillow for the bass drum and a first pair of drumsticks.

Low budget, high performance

The features and accessories of the Millenium Focus Junior Drum Set Black are impressive! The included cymbals ensure that little drummers can start rocking right away. The hi-hat and bass drum pedals feature a durable chain drive, and the chrome-plated, single-braced hardware is stable and durable. In practice, the included bass drum pillow also proves to be a valuable add-on: On the one hand, it eliminates the often unwanted, high-frequency "boing" sound when hitting an unmuffled bass drum; on the other hand, depending on the positioning and alignment, both the batter and the resonant head can be muffled. This gives the bass drum sound more punch and improves the playing feel with the pedal.

First companion

The Millenium Focus Junior Drum Set Black is primarily aimed at children between the ages of four and seven. It is an ideal starter set, especially when it’s not yet clear whether the little one will really stay on the ball – or rather stay behind the drum kit – and you therefore do not want to spend money on expensive professional equipment or cheap department store junk. At an extremely affordable price, it offers solid basic equipment with great looks, useful add-ons, and a reasonable shell configuration. Thanks to the compact 16" bass drum, the flat tom toms, and the 12" snare, even the smallest budding rock stars can easily reach all parts of the set.

Fantastisch Beginners Drumstel voor Kinderen

Ik heb dit drumstel drie jaar geleden gekocht voor mijn zoon, en het is een van de beste aankopen die we hebben gedaan. Hij heeft er ontzettend veel plezier aan beleefd en zijn liefde voor muziek is alleen maar gegroeid. Het drumstel is perfect voor jonge beginners en biedt alles wat ze nodig hebben om te starten.

Zelf heb ik ook regelmatig achter het drumstel gezeten, en ik moet zeggen dat het niet alleen voor kinderen leuk is, maar ook voor volwassenen. Het biedt urenlang speelplezier en is een geweldige manier om samen tijd door te brengen.

De set bevat alles wat je op de foto ziet, inclusief de bass drum, snare drum, toms, hi-hat en crash cymbal. Dit maakt het een complete set voor beginners, zonder dat je extra accessoires hoeft aan te schaffen. De kwaliteit van de onderdelen is verrassend goed voor de prijs, en het drumstel is stevig en duurzaam.

Kortom, ik kan dit drumstel ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een betaalbare en complete beginnersset voor kinderen. Het heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen en heeft bijgedragen aan vele muzikale momenten in ons huis.

Great starter kit, mostly well made, kick pedal disappointing

The shells feel well made and even with the basic skins included, an average Dad drummer can tune them to get a good tone. The snare is snappy and feels great. The cymbals are a bit on the cheap side but are ok value for money.

The downside to this kit is the kick pedal. It’s a bit on the firm side for kids even when set to the lowest setting. I’d encourage a different pedal to be included if you want to take this kit up a notch. Compared to the Pearl roadshow junior it’s much cheaper and the hardware like the pedals are where this makes the difference.

It is great for a cheap starter kit

Bought for my son to test.
Perfect value for money.
It is great for what it is.
And that is a very cheap and not very good drum kit 😂
Everything is flimsy, sound is dull and overall quality not very good.
Manual for installing is wrong (shows picture and guides with different hardware than the kit and picture of setting up the bass drum the opposite side so had to disassemble that and start over not follow manual)
The snare stand is the worst as it doesn't hold the drum properly so it falls off /loosens all the time.

That said honestly, I can honestly say I do not regret buying it and would buy it again. Just do not expect it to be something it is not.
For what it is it is great.

Funny side note. I bought this at the same time as Millenium top of the line e-kit, and the drum key for Jr kit is 10 times better than the useless one that came with the expensive kit...
