Michael Rath R400 Bb-/F- Tenor Trombone

Mooi instrument al kan de afwerking van de solderingen beter. Trombone speelt prima: respons en sound zijn heel goed ( persoonlijk vind ik die beter dan wat uit mijn Yamaha 448 II met klassieke wrap, komt al moet het instrument wel eerst warm gespeeld worden .
In tegenstelling tot wat op de website staat wordt de trombone wel geleverd met een case en een mondstuk L5 dat mij beter ligt dan mijn Bach mondstuk 6 1/2

I am an amateur who plays at a reasonable level, but am by no means a professional. I wanted to purchase a good-quality all-rounder that suited my current ability, will still allowing me room to grow.

The Michael Rath R400 is a beautiful piece of equipment. It produces a full, vibrant sound, and supports a variety of different sounds and approaches. It is very supportive in the upper register, and avoids sounding tinny or hollow at pitches above C5. However, the response and sound can be a little so-so in the first 15-30 minutes of playing, which is something I'd read prior to purchasing, and so did not find surprising when it happened to me.

I like the deisgn - the instrument feels balanced in the hand, which is contrary to one of the reviews I had read prior to purchasing. I love the trigger design, and the support that is positioned near it. The tuning slide and the slide lock are the only mar on the design and quality - I personally dislike the locking mechanism. The tuning slide is prone to sticking, even after careful application of grease.

The instrument seems to be exceptional value for money, producing a quality of sound that I would only expect in instruments twice as expensive. Contrary to the description, the trombone comes with a mouth piece and gig bag. Both are fine, but are nothing to write home about.

9/10, would definitely recommend to any player from medium level onwards.

pour la commande pas de probleme envoyée le vendredi reçu le mardi impeccable.
Le trombone ... au deballage il parait tout petit ... ce n'est qu'une impression .
j'ai monté mon bach 42 pour comparer . tres belle facture. coulisse du tonerre .la noix excellent.
premier tour de piste . il parait tres facile à jouer . avec peut etre un petit creux dans l'aigu sur le la si aigu . mais vite dissipé . au bout de quelques jours.
il faut le chauffer 3 4 minutes et aprés c'est parti. le grave est super facile sans forcer
et je sais de quoi je parle je joue aussi du basse.le son reste ferme sans cuivré .
on monte dans les tours et la c'est super facile perso je monte au contre la super facile. pour comparaison. j'y arrive aussi sur mon bach 42 mais il faut jouer assez fort.
un truc vraiement flagrant chez moi c'est le detaché carrement beaucoup plus facile.
tu foires pratiquement aucune note. meme des concertos que je ne joue plus depuis bientot 20 ans ça sort sans forcer et le son reste super metrisable dans les mouvements chantés . petit test le bolero les doigts dans le nez plusieurs fois de suite
ça parait presque trop simple. bon voila c'etait ma premiere semaine avec mon nouveau rath. a oui la boite livrée avec c'est juste parfait .je vais le faire tester par d'autres persones on verra le verdict .a plus jean seb de strasbourg
