Born from 200 years of experience

Martin Guitar 000C Jr E Bass Burst

With nearly two centuries of tradition behind it, Martin Guitar has long stood as a symbol of excellence in acoustic instrument craftsmanship. Few brands can claim such a storied legacy, and Martin's legendary status is well earned. The 000C Jr E Bass carries this legacy forward in a compact format, featuring a 24.9" scale length that showcases Martin's unwavering attention to detail and commitment to quality. Premium tonewoods, precise construction, and well thought-out features come together to deliver the refined sound and iconic appearance expected from Martin. The classic 000 Auditorium body with cutaway and solid headstock contribute to both playability and aesthetic appeal, and Martin's proprietary pickup system with built-in preamp and tuner offers high-quality amplification, while the included rugged, form-fitting gig bag ensures that the guitar can be stored and transported in complete safety.

Craftsmanship à la Martin

The 000C Jr E Bass features back and sides crafted from sapele, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. Its solid spruce top in turn is reinforced with X-bracing - an innovation by C.F. Martin Sr. from the mid-19th century - enhancing tonal resonance and structural integrity, and a classic burst finish adds an elegant, timeless touch. With a 24.9" (632.5mm) scale length and the compact 000 Auditorium body shape, the bass features a compact, travel-friendly design. The 44.5mm nut width, however, provides the familiar playing feel of a full-sized bass, while the cutaway design ensures easy access to all 20 frets. For amplified performance, the 000C Jr E Bass comes equipped with Martin's own E-1 pickup system, complete with a built-in preamp and integrated tuner. The bass also comes factory-strung with Martin’s high-quality Junior Bass M4750 strings.

Quality meets flexibility

The Martin 000C Jr E Bass is ideal for those who are in the market for a compact acoustic bass that combines high-quality craftsmanship, premium materials, and the musical heritage of a renowned brand. Its 000 Auditorium body and 24.9" scale length make it a practical choice for travel, whether for vacations or business trips, thanks to its space-saving design, while guitarists transitioning to bass will find the familiar proportions easy to adapt to. The acoustic volume output is more than sufficient for practising at home or performing outdoors, but amplification is recommended when performing in an unplugged band setting. Thankfully, the 000C Jr E Bass is well-equipped for both acoustic and amplified use thanks to its flexible feature set.

About Martin Guitar

Martin Guitar was founded in 1833 and is thus one of the most long-established brands in the history of the acoustic guitar. Several of Martin’s developments – including the dreadnought shape, robust X-bracing, the placement of the neck-to-body transition at the 14th fret (as opposed to the 12th fret as found on classical guitars), and the use of steel strings – have now become staples of modern guitar construction that countless other manufacturers have since adopted. To put it another way: Music today would sound very different had it not been for C.F. Martin & Co.

Practical accessories

A gorgeous instrument like the Martin 000C Jr E Bass deserves proper care to maintain its appearance and performance over time. Accordingly, Martin offers a dedicated range of maintenance products for acoustic guitars and basses. Regular string changes are essential for achieving the best sound quality, and the Martin Junior Bass M4750 strings are specifically designed for the 000C Jr E Bass's short scale length. The Martin Bridge Pin Puller makes string replacement simple and safe, while the Martin Neck Rest and Axe Mat provide a stable, protective surface during maintenance. Adjustments to neck relief can be made easily using Martin's dedicated Allen keys, and to keep the finish looking its best, Martin Guitar Polish and a soft care cloth offer an easy way to restore shine and remove smudges.
