A journey to Venus
Like many other Mapex drum series, this series also bears the name of a well-known celestial body. The Venus series comprises drum sets in different configurations: All the sets are made with 9-ply poplar wood shells for a warm, full-bodied sound. Each shell has the in-house SONIClear bearing edge, which has been tried and tested many times over. The available sets are completed by an extensive hardware package and a high-quality Zildjian cymbal set (Planet Z series). With all these features, Venus drum sets are well-equipped, ready-to-play beginners' drum kits.

Sonically flexible configuration
The Venus drum set in the 5045 configuration includes a 20"x16" bass drum, a 14"x5" snare drum, 10"x8" and 12"x9" toms, and a 14"x14" floor tom. The 9-ply, 7.2mm thick poplar wood shells guarantee an outstanding sound, thanks too to their REMO-UC skins and the drums' impeccable workmanship. All hardware parts, such as lugs or tom holders, come in an elegant chrome finish. In addition, the Zildjian cymbals selected for use here fit perfectly into the overall sound of the Venus drum set. The extensive hardware package, which is also chrome-plated, includes a single bass drum pedal, a comfortable drum stool, high-quality cymbal boom stands, and hi-hat and snare stands.
