Compact and powerful column PA

This bundle comprises a compact PA system that delivers sound reinforcement for audiences of around 250 people. It consists of two full units of the LD Systems Maui 28 G3, a compact plug-and-play column PA system, as well as two further subwoofers from the same series and two microphone cables, each 1.5 metres long, for connecting the speakers. This PA system can reproduce frequencies from 37Hz upwards. The directional cardioid dispersion of the four subwoofers provides more direct sound, which counteracts feedback in the low frequencies and is also capable of providing controlled monitoring sound for the stage. The G3's near-instant plug-and-play design makes setup incredibly easy, and the XLR-TRS combo sockets offer a range of connection options, making the G3 Power Bundle as versatile as it is powerful.

Controlled sound dispersion

While the active woofers in the LD Systems Maui 28 G3 sub deliver powerful and controlled bass between 37Hz and 200Hz, the midrange drivers of the column speaker are equipped with phase plugs that the enable precise reproduction of music, speech, and more. To further improve phase response in the high frequencies, the tweeters feature a curved shape to optimally focus the sound waves they produce. Should phase problems still occur, they can be easily dealt with using the second generation Dynx DSP accessible via the subwoofer's controls, which features multiband dynamic processing, FIR filters for equalizers, and a crossover. The redesigned shape of the subwoofer unit's four bass reflex ports helps to reduce flow noise, with the active woofer in each of the four subwoofers in this bundle powered by a Class D amplifier with convection cooling; they can reach a maximum sound pressure level of 127dB.

Same flexibility, even more power

This compact, full-range PA system is ideal for singer-songwriters, DJs, and bands booked for smaller events. Thanks to its understated design appearance, it'll cut a fine figure in pubs, bars, youth centres, and indeed almost any venue requiring unobtrusive sound reinforcement – the audience will scarcely be able to see it's there. The sophisticated sonic principles of the column speakers reduce harmonic distortion and phase cancellation, resulting in a transparent and powerful sound. Users have complete control over the sound, as the volume of each of the components can be controlled separately. And the LD Systems Maui 28 G3 isn't just powerful and flexible (thanks to the XLR-TRS combo sockets on the rear of the subwoofers) – it's also a hugely reliable package, featuring dedicated circuitry designed to prevent overloading, overheating, short circuits, and DC problems. Furthermore, the PA can also be used wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0, with the AAC codec ensuring high sound quality.

Anyone who has to regularly use this PA bundle in different venues will not only appreciate the sub units' sturdy construction (birch plywood with polyurea coating), but also the fact that the system can be set up and taken down in next to no time, thanks to its wireless multi-pin connection. The satellites of the column speakers weigh only 12.6kg, as the housing is made of powder-coated aluminium, so they couldn't be easier to transport; the entire PA system is thus both lightweight and robust. The active subwoofers are connected to the sub out connection via 1.5m long microphone cables. The four subwoofers each have four carrying handles for flexible transport: The subwoofers weigh 22.8kg each, giving the entire LD Systems Maui 28 G3 Power Bundle a total weight of 116.4kg.
