These were advertised as basically roundwounds with a flatwound feel. First impressions is that they feel nothing like flatwounds, more like kinda dirty, waxy, old roundwounds, essentially making them very slow-playing roundwounds that my fingers stick to.

I’m looking forward to trying them more, there’s absolutely some quality here. It just baffles me why they would advertise them as something they’re very clearly not. They’re fun strings… just not what I thought they would be.

They sound incredible, really singing higher up the fretboard.

They are nowhere near as smooth feeling as advertised, they are essentially round wound strings, and I would probably say not as smooth feeling as nickel coated strings.

So not entirely what I was expecting but they’re still brilliant

Habe diese Seiten bestellt, weil ich großer Fan von Scott's Bass Lessons bin und Ian dort mitwirkt. Er hat auf Social Media für seine neuen Saiten geworben, die eine Mischung aus Flat- und Roundwound Saiten sein sollen.

An das tolle Spielgefühl von Flats kommen sie zwar nicht ganz heran, fühlen sich aber dennoch toll an und liefern einen fetten Sound. Sie werden ziemlich sicher meine neuen Standard-Saiten, die ich auf alle meine Bässe aufziehen werde. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
