Keeley Loomer

I keep this one for the fuzz. It is the best shoegaze fuzz I know. It can go from muff to aggressive Shinei sound and it can handle pedals in front of it. And the sound is really great and unique. The reverse reverb is dissapointing : It has not that nice rack transients and comes in the way. The Zoom ms50 reverse reverb is way better (and it has fuzz too, but not so good as this one). The Shimmer verb : I hear lfo in the shimmer sound, but the highs blend in nice. Good to pair with fuzz. The Soft Focus reverb is the best and most usefull reverb. Pair with extra delay but also good on its own. I don't know why Keeley en Kevin S don't do their best more to get the reverse reverb more smooth and rack like. I think Pedal Partners did that (Blush pedal?) ILoomer is an expensive pedal and tied to Kevin Shields. it is no secret that a lot of youtubeshoegazers sold their Loomer and It has got something to do with the reverse reverb. You have to get another reverse reverb ( old Zoom ms, old digitechs are the best) and then the expensive pedal is only half usefull .
