Jensen CH/MOD 12/50 8Ohm

Hello, I wanted to wait a while and get to know the speaker better to write the review. I have a tube amp, a combo, that had a Celestion V30. I made a screen and placed it there. That's why I needed a speaker for this amp, but I didn't want to spend a lot. I've tried cheap celestions and I don't like them at all, so I decided to try the Jensen. I had very low expectations for the speaker, in fact I thought I would break it and return it instantly. But to my surprise, it sounds incredible. So much so that I did an A/B comparison with the V30, because I thought it was on the same level. The difference is noticeable, but taking into account that V30 is in a very good piece of furniture, that it costs more than double and that the difference is not that much (think that I have had that combo with the V30 for more than 14 years, so I know its sound very well and at first it seemed to me that it sounded the same as the V30) well, I think I made a great purchase! Plus, it weighs less!

No es el primer altavoz Jensen que compro, ni tampoco el primero de la serie Chicago/Mod.
Para mí esta es una serie cuya relación calidad precio es muy buena.
La construcción, pintura, terminales...impecable.
El embalaje de fabrica, bueno, sumado al de Thomann, llega integro a casa.
Esta evaluación la hago cuando todavía no está "curado" del todo, con apenas 12 horas de uso, aún así suena bien.
Limpios limpios con brillo sin ser chillón.
Sucios, con ligero regusto fuzz si le aprietas.
