Hotone Ampero II

After the big fail with the Headrush Flex Prime I really wanted to like this unit but unfortunately this one didn't work for me either. The noise gate (in my unit) is impossible to tame. On my high gain tones it either cutes the notes of too soon or is as loud as a screaming banshee. It made playing on high gain pretty much impossible for me which sucks because that's what I use the most. The buzz is insane. Tested it with all my guitars and all my cables and all my amps but every time I get the same result. Eventually, I spend more time adjusting the settings to solve the issues then actual playing.

I will say for clean tones it's good and the interface is very user-friendly and simple. You don't need to spend hours to understand it. Same with the desktop editor and the expression pedal feels sturdy and of good quality. But the noise gate issues make it impossible to use for me so this one has to go back unfortunately
