Great guitar, excellent tone!

There are two types of this guitar currently available; a red one with P90's and this blue one with humbuckers. I have both! Although the are in it's base the same guitar in terms of construction, the difference between the P90's and humbuckers is really night and day. The red one is more clean but also more mellow. This blue one with the humbuckers has more meat to the tone while still being able to have a really cleanish tone thanks to the same great hollow body construction. As with all these guitars, the finish is excellent and the fretwork is nice. You have to spent quite some time in order to have it set up perfectly, have the nut cut correctly etc. You have to consider the price of this guitar along with it ofcourse. The pickups are fine. I must confess that I have two of these blue ones and I have exchanged the pickups in one of them for Seymour Duncan jazz and custom custom pickups. It enhances the guitar's basic tone but when compared to the wilkinson pickups the guitars comes equipped with, the change in tone isn't that spectacular. So this is a big complement towards this guitar straight out of the box!

Hoge fretten

Je voelt echt de hoge fretten als je speeld, is wel een nadeel, tenminste voor mij dan. Geluid van de gitaar is optimaal door de twee zijdige hollow gewelfde body, goede humbuckers, gitaar is niet zwaar en de neck hangt niet naar beneden, goede balans en mooie afwerking. Stemmechanieken zijn zeker goed.

Uiterlijk een mooie luxe gitaar, ik stel hem altijd af met een zo licht mogelijke actie door de neck en brug aan te passen soms heeft de topkam wat extra vijlwerk nodig deze niet, prima instument.

Ik heb deze TE-90QM ook in het rood met P90 nu met alnico humbucker pickups, beide gitaren zijn een lust voor het oog en spelen heerlijk met een geweldige klank.
