Returned it to get the modular version (without adapter)
Some suggest an external adapter is better for less noise. I don't know about that because I use a fancy noise gate (ISP Hum Exctractor + Decimator). I like to insert the 220V power cable directly into the power supply so I returned this one to get the modular version.
