Whether southpaw shredders are using the neck pickup for playing lead, both pickups together for crunchy riffs, or the bridge pickup for parts that require a lot of precision: The SC-1000LH will do it all. The high-gain HBZ pickups deliver a clear sound and plenty of headroom, which ensures that the sound is never compressed, even at the highest distortion levels, and is always well-balanced. The active electronics are powered by a 9-volt battery, which can be easily replaced via a quick-release cover on the back of the body. Tip: To prolong the life of the battery and do both their bank accounts and the environment a favour, musicians should unplug the instrument cable from the guitar as soon as they've finished playing.
