I recently acquired an Harley Benton Aeolus, mainly to play jazz and fusion. It had .10 - 0.46 out of the box, which is fine for rock style, but I missed the mellow tone for jazz. I used to play 0.12 flatwound on my Ibanez jazz boxes, but that is too much on this guitar, it would probably not go through the nut.
This set is perfect for jazz mellow tone. It didn't stretch as much as ordinary strings either. They sound great, and if you are in the mood, you can still bend the g-string for some classic rock.
The big advantage of flat wounds is that your vibrato sounds awesome, since the strings don't scratch the frets.
I recommend all jazz players HB flatwound strings. Go for it, although you'll probably prefer the 0.11 or 0.12.
