An Affordable and Convenient Headphone Guitar Amp for Practice
SiergiejL 19.05.2023
As an avid guitarist always on the lookout for compact and portable gear, I was intrigued by its affordable price tag, convenience, and promise of good sound quality. After spending some time with the device, I must say that it certainly delivers on its claims.

For budget-conscious guitarists or beginners, it provides an excellent option to amplify their instrument without breaking the bank. Despite its low price, this little amp offers surprisingly decent sound quality, making it suitable for practice sessions in various environments.

The device is compact and lightweight, making it incredibly easy to carry around. Its portable design allows guitarists to practice virtually anywhere without the need for bulky equipment or extensive setup. Whether you're on the go, at home, or even in a small apartment, this headphone amp is a perfect companion.

The Bluetooth functionality and its seamless and instant connection, you can effortlessly pair the amp with your phone . This means you can easily stream your favorite backing tracks or jam along to music from your phone, enhancing your practice sessions and making them more enjoyable.

In terms of sound quality pleasantly surprised me. It delivers a clear and well-balanced tone, allowing you to hear the nuances of your playing without any significant distortion or noise. The built-in effects, including delay, reverb, and modulation, provide some extra versatility and creativity to your sound. While it may not compare to higher-end guitar modelers, the sound quality of the GiT Mobile II is more than sufficient for practice purposes.

Overall, the Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Mobile II is a commendable headphone guitar amp for practice sessions. Its affordability, convenience, and good sound quality make it an attractive option, particularly for beginner guitarists or those who prioritize portability and cost-effectiveness. The instant Bluetooth connection and ability to stream music from your phone add an extra layer of versatility to your practice routine. If you're in search of an inexpensive and practical solution to practice your guitar without disturbing others, the GiT Mobile II is definitely worth considering.

Lekker laagdrempelig
Jonne-SOS 17.08.2023

Great for practice!
maartenaerts 07.06.2025
I have loads of small guitar amp plugs and stuff. Oke but never great. So the dnafx was ‘on sale’, and I had some spare money.
It’s super nice! The amps only have one preset each sound, you can change it a bit with the tone/character button. Also the fix-reverb delay chorus and the likes can be swapped or switched off.
That’s good, you can use it for bass also. Some clean tones and som distortions are nice for bass.
Guitar is fun and not harsh as all my other plugin amps. First two fender tones are nice clean and not to sharp, acoustic sim
Is piezo like, Philip Catherine/ovation idea to me, but I really like it with the dc jr for song rehearsal with the benefit of this fast playing guitar :)
Al the more gainy amps are nice for my rockstar solos and chords ;) Marshall’s sound similar as my stage amp, say like ac/dc flavor. Vox is more a mix between the edge and Brian May, not beatle clean. But also not a fully dimed ac30. Ah well. There are a lot more fancy name Amp types, they sound nice distorted on all six strings. Probably a different flavor for everyone. The ultra gain amps sound nice to me, not metal but all flavors of hard/ hair rock. Eddy to Adje
Bluetooth is a must these days, practice with whatever your phone-iPad- computer can send.
Finally: I use an extension cord I made (mono jack in, 1 meter of cable and jack out, neatly shrink wrapped), so the DNAfx lays besides me and doesn’t get crushed when it’s plugged in.
(Like it best with my Beyer Dynamic dr 770 pe, 80ohms. A musicians must …)
