Mahogany and spruce combined
Solid woods have always been the basic ingredient for a warm, percussive sound with good note separation in acoustic guitars, and for this reason, selected mahogany has been used for the body and neck of the Harley Benton Custom Line CLJ-412E SB, while a solid spruce top gives the instrument a rich treble response. The ovangkol fingerboard and bridge provide a visually appealing contrast to the spruce top with its high-gloss sunburst finish while also perfectly complementing the tone, and a set of gold-plated DLX die-cast machine heads complete the overall look, keeping the instrument reliably in tune. Fishman Presys-II Preamp
Players can quickly and easily amplify the Harley Benton Custom Line CLJ-412E SB thanks to the Fishman Presys-II preamp, complete with a two-band EQ, that is built into the side of the guitar. This preamp is additionally equipped with a phase switch and a warning light that indicates when the battery is running low, making this guitar suitable for musicians who play purely acoustically but also want to perform on stage. The Presys-II's built-in tuner also makes the CLJ-412E SB easy to tune in noisy environments, where tuning by ear or using a tuner with a microphone is difficult and imprecise.
