Precise tonal control

A completely hollow electric guitar like the Harley Benton BigTone will naturally find its place in genres such as Jazz and Rockabilly, but is also wonderfully suited to Blues and even certain Rock styles, offering a warm and expressive character. Some caution is advised at higher volumes and with higher gain, however, as the large hollow body can resonate more freely; however, this is counterbalanced by a slightly thicker top compared to traditional acoustic archtops, which helps keep everything under control without losing the open, lively response. The control layout provides additional flexibility: Three volume controls allow a precise balance to be achieved between the two humbuckers in the middle switch position; once set, this balance can remain unchanged, while the master volume control offers a simple and effective way to tweak the overall volume.
