Hard to beat
I bought the Harley Benton Amarok 6 in Black Red Quilted Burst.
The guitar I got feels very good, is a visual treat, is ergonomically very well laid out, comfortable to play, with a for my taste easy to play neck and has a very appealing sound.
It's a metal machine. Search no further. I personally like the EMG “retro active hot 70” pickups, over the EMG 81. Personal taste of course. The ultimate sound depends of course heavily on the rest of your gear.
For the price of 499EUR it's in my humble opinion unbeatable … and beyond.
No need to spend your hard earned money on an overpriced “brand” guitar. This one does metal very well for a smaller amount of money.
