Failing fump
The piece looks nice, but does not mute all the strings. I have tried it on several basses, in most cases the D string is not muted in the same way the other strings are muted. One string that has a longer sustain than the others defeats the purpose of using this piece of gear at all. If you want to mute your strings without using your palm; buy gaffa or a piece of foam. This thing didn’t work for me at all. It’s a failing fump. 😬
