Göldo ASNUT Slide Saddle

The Goldo Slide saddle is a small piece of metal which will 'lift' the strings off the fret. This will increase the action and make slide guitar playing much easier to accomplish without the clatter of frets hindering your technique. First loosen/de-tune to fit the Goldo under the strings and over the fret. (2nd/3rd/4th/5th fret placements are probably the most useful/practical.)

Tip 1: Place under the second fret to make it easier to work out your scales ...or chops/noodles. (Your guitar is now ''tuned'' a whole tone/step higher.

Tip 2: Goldo ASNUT is useful with Open G tuning as the strings will become a little tighter and sing just that bit better. Under the second fret, Open G will of course be in fact, Open A.

Tip 3: Lightly place a capo over the strings between the nut and the Goldo saddle. This will require a little fine-tuning but will increase the string tension...but don't tighten it down like a vice clamp!
