The Gator Icon Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Gigbag boasts a multi-layered synthetic construction, so it's extremely sturdy but still nice and flexible. On the outside, it's finished in tough, weather-resistant 1000D nylon. Inside, the Icon series is padded with soft foam, covered in red micro-velvet to keep even the most sensitive guitars well wrapped up. The interior is shaped to make sure that dreadnoughts from pretty much all major brands will fit; of course, since not every guitar is exactly the same, the neck support block is easily adjustable, as are the removable body blocks, for extra protection and greater flexibility. For cables, straps, setlists, and indeed almost anything else, there are multiple pockets on the front and back, and two handles and stowable backpack straps also mean the Gator Icon can be carried in a variety of practical and ergonomic ways.

Gator, or Gator Cases, is an American firm founded in 2000 by father-daughter team Jerry Freed and Crystal Morris in Tampa, Florida. Initially, Gator began with a modest range of moulded plastic guitar cases. From there, they expanded the product line to include case and bag solutions for the whole field of instruments and equipment. A wide variety is covered: Instruments, microphones, and all aspects of live performance, including lighting equipment. At the same time, products for other media areas such as photo and video are also available. All products are made of high-quality plastics, wood, textiles, and EVA materials.
