Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 3rd Gen

I bought this interface to connect my 2 hardware synths to. The idea was to connect both synths to the 4 rear inputs. Unfortunately the gain of the rear inputs is so low, that even when cranking the gain in the software AND in my DAW all up, the volume was too low to actually work with. Which basically makes the interface useless for me and for anyone who wants to do without extra preamps. Can’t really say it’s my synth which is the problem, it gives enough output and is one of the best selling synths today.
That is a pity, because the interface looks really nice and feels sturdy and of good quality.
