It certainly can: Introducing the Flight TUS-32 Sakura Soprano Travel ukulele, which is made for the most part from ABS polymer and gives players an extremely robust instrument that they can take on even the wildest adventures without ever having to worry about it getting damaged. The use of this material for the back, sides, neck, and fingerboard provide outstanding resistance both to physical knocks and to fluctuations in temperature, meaning that this ukulele (whose only wooden component is its strikingly designed basswood top) will stand up to the longest of journeys.

More than simply robust

The conventional tuning for a soprano ukulele is either G-C-E-A or A-D-F#-B, which makes this the second-smallest member of the ukulele family, as well as the one with the second-highest tuning (second in both cases to the "sopranino" models). The extremely compact design of the Flight TUS-32 Sakura Travel Soprano ukulele means that it will fit into virtually any travelling bag, and even if space is tight, the user can simply strap it (in the included gig bag, of course) to the outside of their luggage, and they are ready to go. Besides its enhanced robustness and stability, the instrument's ABS construction also has tonal advantages, namely a more powerful midrange response and a louder overall sound - so beachgoers on holiday will still be able to hear themselves easily over the sound of the waves!

Sakura: "Cherry blossom"

The Flight TUS-32 Sakura Travel Soprano ukulele is designed for musicians who are looking for an accompanying instrument for on the go that combines durability with great looks. "Sakura" is the Japanese word for "cherry blossom", and in keeping with its name this ukulele's black-into-blue top is adorned with an immediately eye-catching cherry blossom design that is also continued on the headstock and gives the instrument an extremely elegant appearance. However, the Sakura ukulele's construction also incorporates some sophisticated elements, including a zero fret and ABS bridge for near-perfect intonation and string action, and this combination further enhances the instrument's playability and durability at the same time.

The Slovenian-based company Flight was founded in the early 2000s with one simple aim: To fulfil the demand for high-quality ukuleles in its home country. Really surprising ukulele. I have other flight ukuleles, from supernatural series, from natural series and also from travel series. this sakura is a travel one, but with aquila carbon black strings. And this combination is awesome to me. it has a really beautiful sound, easy to play and the design is amzaing (it's subjective of course) for the price I would not hesitate (any of the travel series is great).
