Perfect pickup for a banjo

I am very pleased with this pickup. I use it on my banjo and this is the best pickup I've ever had so far.

I run it through the Fishmann pro EQ preamp so I can cut the unwanted noises and balance the trebble/middle/bass frequencies.
You have to solder the wires to the switchjack, so you may need to go to a music store if you do not have access to a soldering iron, which will cost you some money to take into account.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this pickup and I recommend it for banjo amplification onstage. I also recommend using a good preamp for optimal sound quality.

Simple, easy to fit passive piezo pickup. Very clear and accurate representation of the acoustic sound of my Hanika 52AF directly into a Roland AC60.

installé sous la table d'un cavaquinho (petit instrument à cordes métalliques brésilien). excellent rendu. pas de larsen intempestif même à fort volume. pas d'équal nécessaire. tient bien la distance sans préampli. un bon choix.
