Fender telepath

Draadloos budget systeem voor gitaar. Werkt prima. Er is geen enkele voorkennis of instelling nodig. Uitpakken, opladen, inpluggen en spelen!
Batterij gaat lang genoeg mee voor een hele avond repeteren of optreden.

Wat zou beter kunnen:
Het indicatorlampje voor het opladen zit achter de jack plug. Je moet dus altijd de jackplug uitklappen om dat lampje te kunnen zien.
Het onderdeel wat in de gitaar wordt ingeplugd is niet voorzien van een silent functie. Er is dus altijd signaal, ingeplugd of niet. Als je met enige regelmaat je gitaar wegzet (omdat je dan alleen maar zingt) is dat onhandig.

Kortom:
Prima draadloze oplossing. Geen flauwekul met instellingen etc.

Easy.
Connection was straightforward.
Compact size.
Sound quality feels the same as my 3m cable.
I hear no noise when volume and gain are pushed.
Perfect 👍
Connected into a Nobels odr (I have a very simple setup).
I hope that it will last for long.
Seems to be well build.

I've been using the Telepath for 10 months now on weekly gigs in venues and stages of various sizes and have found it to be very reliable.
I previously had a 2.4GHz system which gave the odd problem in some venues, especially hotels for some reason but the Telepath has been 100% reliable so far with zero drop outs. I also wanted something quick and handy that didn't use a powered floor receiver. I'm currently doing 3 x 2 hour gigs (with soundcheck and a bit of noodling) before recharging but I'd probably squeeze a 4th gig out of them if needed. Also using it for acoustic guitar gigs. While they are plastic, the units feel like they are of a decent build quality.
Finally, it's not a big thing but for the price and because the product is 2 separate units I think Fender could have included a hard-shell case to house the units and cable together. That said a small case is cheap and easy to source. Anyway, buy with confidence.

I measured a latency of 4.75 ms. That's worse than the spec.
A bit pricey.

On the other hand, it works flawlessly with both active and passive pickups, and there were no issues with connection stability.
