Bright sounding, for flatwounds
I love these strings. They sound bright, for flats that is. Best "cheap" flats for me. I used Harley Benton flatwounds and some other cheap brands. They all sounded very dull and even more dull on the thicker strings. The Fenders sound even, same tone on every string with medium tension. When you want that oldschool fat/dull sound dial back the tone. These alo have long sustain for flats. Let's see how long they will last. I will buy more to put on some of my other basses. Love these!
