The EV ETX-15SP is an active 15" subwoofer with integrated DSP, limiter, and FIR filtering – though its most immediately noteworthy feature is its organic, natural sound. It's robust, flexible, and powerful, so it's just as at home in a gigging and touring context as it is in a permanent installation. The subwoofers of the ETX series are available in 15" and 18" sizes, and three matching 10", 12", and 15" top units are available as well. The ETX speakers are Electro-Voice's flagship range, and as such they're recommended for professional musicians, bands, DJs, and anyone who provides sound for live entertainment. The series boasts a number of technical innovations, such as the QuickSmart DSP – more on that below. But one thing is sure: These are speakers that have been designed to take on any challenge.

Legendary sounds meet innovative technology

Accept no compromises in sound and performance: The EV ETX-15SP has a powerful 1800W Class D power amplifier with an efficiency grade that means it keeps cool even in the hottest environments. For maximum punch, the unit's DVX 15" bass speaker operates inside a 18mm thick, 13-ply, road-ready birch plywood chassis. The maximum sound pressure level is a whopping 134dB. The frequency range is 32–180Hz, with a flexible low-pass frequency at 80Hz, 100Hz, 120Hz, or 150Hz. For the crossovers, Electro-Voice uses FIR filter technology, as found in the company's large concert speaker systems. The proprietary FIR drive design optimises the transducer's linearity for a precise, balanced sound output.

Intelligent workflow

Flexibility and workflow are very important aspects of the ETX series: The integrated QuickSmart Pro DSP scores highly on this front thanks to its intuitive menu navigation (via encoder and LCD), input level control, and master volume control, as well as the special dispersion control technology it uses for the subwoofers – for real cardioid performance across the entire operating range. The ETX-15SP features insert and threaded combo pole cups. Two lockable XLR/jack combo sockets are available on the input side. In addition, there are two XLR link outputs for controlling speakers such as the Electro-Voice ETX-15P. The DSP offers EQ and delay adjustments, as well as different presets for all possible scenarios and locations. Last but not least, the ETX-15SP comes with a convenient setup wizard that helps users of all experience levels to install different top/sub combinations.

Subwoofer singolo EV

Ho compreato questo subwoofer per utilizzarlo con due DXR10 yamaha.Il sub ha i tagli di frequenza perfetti per essere abbinati a queste casse e rende non necessario l'utilizzo di un crossover.
L'ho acquistato perche' la serie DXS yamaha ha meta' della potenza rispetto a questo EV e quindi il trasporto diventa molto piu' semplice.
I bassi sono pieni e potenti ma a 0 dB va gia' in protezione quando si usa la cassa della batteria.
Pensavo fosse molto piu' potente.
Il peso e' quello che piu' ho meno hanno tutti isub di questo tipo,le ruote gia' montate rendono lo spostamento molto semplice al punto che l'ha portato in giro per la casa mio figlio di 7 anni senza alcuna fatica.Purtroppo e' la posizione delle maniglie a renderne scomodo caricarlo in auto.
All'aperto arriva a far sentire il punch nel raggio di una decina di metri e il display per il settaggio e' molto comodo.Molto semplice tramite la manopolina con lo switch navigare tra i vari menu' e impostazioni per renderlo adatto a situzioni da Dj oppure Live,per ambienti chiusi oppure all'aperto,per posizionarlo a terra oppure su dei supporti.Il prezzo e' lo stesso di due DXS15 yamaha per cui lo scambiero' con quelle in quanto la potenza a cui arriva EV non e' cosi' tanta.

Wundervolle kraftentfaltung im Freien. ich habe sie in der kombi mit den ETX15P. Kann nur sagen Top der Sound überzeugt. Aber im VW Touran wird es eng mit den Lautsprechern und leicht sind sie auch nicht also allein auf dauer wird das nix. Man brauch schon 2 Leuchte am besten.

Un caisson pratique qui répond à nos attentes

Comme écrit dans l'intitulé, ce caisson de basse actif est efficace, même dans de grands espaces type hall de lycée (~5000m^3) sa puissance se ressent.
Cette puissance bien qu'inférieure aux modèles plus coûteux suffit amplement d'autant plus qu'un réglage de "boost" est disponible à l'arrière du caisson et fonctionnement fidèlement.
Aucun problème lors de la connexion du caisson à la stage box puis à la console son (X32).
De plus avoir des roulettes est un réel plaisir pour le transport !
