About Electro-Voice

Well, they are pricey for a reason

Clear, precise, powerful sound. Coming from an old high-end HK Audio system, this blew my head off. Loved it from the very first minute. Price is a bit high, but for what you get... yeah. If you can afford it, buy it! But consider this. This speaker is LOUD. If you can't push it as hard as it needs to be pushed (too small rehearsal space, etc.), go for something smaller. I wanted something that could carry multiple instruments (modellers+IRs with vocals, keys, etc) even on small-to-medium gigs. This is IT. Great recommendation from Thomann's team, they did not dissapoint.

PA mit HiFi Qualitäten

Ich betreibe diese Lautsprecher zusammen mit den EKX-18S und Distanzstange als klassisches Top/Sub System.
Zur Ansteuerung verwende ich eine EV Q1212* pro Seite, das ganze hängt dann an einem EV Dx46 DSP. Hier verwende ich die in der IRIS-Net Software enthaltenen, auf die Lautsprecher abgestimmten Voreinstellungen (EQ, Xover und Limiter).

Klanglich einfach nur Spitze, nichts scheppert, klirrt oder verzerrt, so wie ein Lautsprecher eben sein sollte.

Das Gehäuse ist sehr solide, die Griffmulden aus Metall gefertigt und ausreichend groß zum bequemen Tragen. Sind nicht die leichtesten, lassen sich gerade so noch alleine auf die Stange wuchten.
Erwähnenswert ist meiner Meinung nach auch, dass die Lautsprecher tatsächlich in Deutschland hergestellt werden, was vielleicht auch ein Kaufargument ist.

*Baugleich Dynacord SL2400, (sind ja beides Marken von Bosch) aber 68€ Günstiger.

Un son net et sans bavures

Bonjour à tous,

Nous avons acquis ce système il y a quelques mois pour une utilisation professionnelle.
Usage principale : Sonorisation de DJ's electro et généraliste

Nous avons choisi le système en passif (choix purement personnel) et couplons les EKX 15 avec 1 ou 2 caissons EKX18 selon la config de salle et le nombre de participants (150 à 300 personnes).
Le système est amplifié par 2 QSC GX5 et gérer par un processeur DBX.
Nous utilisons également 2 EKX12 en retour ou rappel salle.

La puissance est au rendez-vous et même en poussant un peu le système, le son reste propre, chaque fréquence est à sa place.
Le système encaisse sans broncher !!
Nous avons déjà tester des systèmes plus puissant qui avaient un moins bon rendu.

La finition des enceintes est propre (même si nous ne choisissons pas nos systèmes pour ça) et surtout robuste !

Le petit bémol (il en faut bien un) c'est le poids (23kg) qui reste élevé pour une puissance de 400W.

Le rapport qualité prix est excellent et si c'était à refaire on ne changerait rien.
