Ernie Ball Flatwound 2818

I use this on a Gibson Les Paul Junior Tribute DC Bass (30.5 inch scale). Both ends of the strings are 'silk'-wound. The silk ends should not touch the nut nor the bridge saddles. But they do. So I ended up scratching and peeling the 'silk' of the bridge end of the strings. Took me about an hour. Now the strings sound fantastic and they feel great too. I have half wounds on my guitars and this is a close as you can get to those for a bass.
