I really hated these
These sound terrible to me. On my Martin slightly less terrible than on my Takamine, but still very bad. The wound strings sound dull, muted, as if you're playing 2 year old strings. The crisp sound of new strings is never there, and it only gets worse over time. Also there is a lot of finger noise. Ernie Ball makes some great strings, so I was unpleasantly surprised.
