EMG 85 White

It is an EMG 85 as regular but than white. Just looks good in the latest guitar I built which is white as well.

Loads of people know this pickup as the "neck-pickup-that-comes-with-EMG-81". For that it works just fine as Zakk Wylde can confirm.

However, you really have to try this pickup in the bridge! As Steve Lukather can confirm ;).

Especially for non-metal usage the EMG-85 excells. Compared to the EMG-81 it has more low-end and low-mids, it has a more raw growl. Where the EMG-81 is a real tight pickup, the EMG-85 is real chunky - but musical - pickup.

You either love it or hate it.
It's EMG 85 in white, I've put it in my Fender Standard Strat in the bridge and in fact was pretty happy with the sound. In fact, it reanimated guitar and made it for me a Jack of All Trades. It has a lot of punch, clarity, and seats good in the mix, besides it has an astonishing killer look (EMG in white, you see this not so often).
Would recommend it to anyone who loves active pickups and EMG in particular - it's a big no-brainer.
PS. Its a pity that there is only this model in white, it would be great if more EMGs were in white instead of boring black.

It's the perfect balance between harsh bite and soft thickness, might actually be my favorite pickup of all time. It's dead silent under heavy gain, perfect for recording. Installation is super easy and the pickup looks stunning on my black Kramer. Cleans up nicely with the volume put. Fast delivery.
