Elixir .009 Plain Steel Single String

These strings are simply the very best. Even after a year or longer they still sound as brandnew, due to its coating. This coating defends the string to get dirty and fat. Pieces of skin, dust and dirt like sweat cannot come between the windings of the thicker strings and therefore they keep clear and clean sounding. The thin strings liek GBW are made from stainless steel and there is no other string in the world what last as long as this brand. Real guitarplayers should use these. They are some more expensive but afterall they appear to be cheaper. Normal strings of every other brand cannot make this. Some are dead within one show or like one evening. We guitarplayers know the kick of new strings and how they sound. Well Elixir sounds always like that. I just renew them when they are broken or too much damaged on the frets that they need replacement for that. Even then they sound still very well. I am talking about Polyweb quality of ELIXIR. The Nanoweb quality is also alot better but last not that long because their coating is thinner.
