Dit is een clean booster. Dus of hij lekker klinkt hangt van je overige gear af. Maar hij maakt je signaal harder. In de loop van je amp ben je gewoon harder, maar als je hem voor je versterker zet, stuur je de preamp meer over (in geval van een buizenbak dan).
Aan of uit, harder of minder hard. Dat is alles wat hij kan en alles wat booster zou moeten kunnen. Super solid. Mooie prijs. Get one.

Prima boost-pedaal!
Doet wat het moet doen! Versterkt het geluid met een hoeveelheid die je zelf aan kunt geven met de draaiknop die erop zit. Geluid blijft zuiver.
Pedaal is stevig en de bediening is simpel en effectief! Aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een betaalbaar maar prima boost-pedaal!

Very decent boost pedal
I use this pedal for acoustic guitar. I'm in a band with another acoustic guitar player and i play quite some solo's in our set. It's difficult to get the solo's to be very audible when the other guitar is strumming.
Here's where a clean boost pedal comes in handy.
I play a Yamaha Cpx08 through a NUX stageman floor preamp, which is a nice sounding combination. The boost pedal does a good job boosting the sound a couple db. It does induce a little saturation, but i find this very useful to help cut through the mix. It's a simple pedal with just a stomp switch for on\off and a dial for the amount of boost. The only thing that bothers me a little is that the stomp switch is not the easiest to engage. It has a hard click and thus has to be stepped on firmly. In the heat of the moment i sometimes find my stepping on it does't always engage the pedal.
Another thing i would like to add is that i got the pedal with a non fuctioning power LED, which is far from ideal in live sitations.
However Thomann resolved this issue imediately, Big thanks for that!

Geweldig ding
Deze linear booster doet wat het belooft, het geluid boosten. Geen overdive-achtige geluiden, gewoon een cleane sound die eruit komt, maar dan met een paar extra decibels.

Een echte Ace!
Dit pedaaltje heb ik aangeschaft omdat Ace Frehley van KISS hier zijn kenmerkende geluid mid jaren '70 mee creëerde. En dat doet het ook.
De boost is behoorlijk zuiver en voegt naast meer volume ook meer body toe. Sommige pedaaltjes die je inplugt voordat die in deze booster gaan, kan in bepaalde combinaties en op hogere volumes, voor een wat zompig of rafelig geluid zorgen. Hou het puur!
