The kit uses monocoque FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) shells – chosen for stiffness and durability – mounted on three Lambda tripod stands that give the kit a distinctive, almost avant-garde and yet eminently stage-ready appearance. The ELISE sensing processor handles dynamic input across all pads with low latency and a wide dynamic range, capturing ghost notes and subtle dynamic gradations without retriggering. The Tru-Motion hi-hat uses multi-optical 3D sensing to capture the full range of hi-hat motion – open, closed, half-open, and foot chick – more accurately than a single-sensor controller. Crash and ride cymbals are 3-zone (bow, edge, and cup); the free-swinging design responds to angle and position across the full surface.
