Het zijn zalige snaren, ze klinken lang goed, je wordt er geen Wooten van dat niet. Maar toch dichterbij het muzikale licht.

de service van Thomann is altijd goed naar mijn ervaring,
alleen iets sneller het gekochte ontvangen zou toch mooi zijn, zolang zoeken en afwegen, dan uiteindelijk de knoop doorgehakt, dan duurt wachten toch langer.
De snaren zijn tof, en net weer een nieuwe bas versterker gekocht, hmm zo zin in.

I was looking for some new strings and came across a review from Victor Wooten who had changed his string provider to DR, talking nicely about the DR Blues.
So I decided to give it a try. And wow!! So nicely made strings. They have a beautiful sound and the feel can't be found on any other strings.
All of a sudden my basses rose to a new level! I've now changed all of my basses strings to DR Blues.
It's all about taste, my taste might not be the same as yours, but if you like that punchy funk sound with some lightness when you play, these strings are definitely for you!

Great strings. In the past months I crossed with DR and since then all of my basses now officialy running DR strings. My two favorites are now this and the Hi-Beams. Hi-Beams sound more modern whereas this has more mids. Compared to the other strings I used (long time ernie ball user here, bit of rotosound and D'addario too) and compared to them, DR strings (this and Hi-Beams in particular) sound much more even string by string.

I did not buy it particularly because of Wooten (although I love the guy), I purchased it because of the gauge. Sadly there is no any other DR set that has this gauge. A dream to play on!

J'ai vu ces cordes qui me semblaient pas mal, donc j'ai voulu essayer. Je les monte, je les essaye et ça sonne super. Premier concert avec, 2 jours après les avoir monté, et le lendemain je les retrouve avec de l'oxydation sur l'endroit où je joue (médiator et doigts).
Je suis quelqu'un de soigneux, je joue d'habitude sur des Elixir que j'essuie après chaque utilisation et que je garde plus d'un an, et là en moins d'une semaine je ne peux plus utiliser ces Pure Blues.
Je suppose être tombé sur un mauvais jeu de cordes parmi ceux dont les avis vantaient la qualité, car tout de même le son et la sensation de jeu sont excellents.
Je pense ré essayer ces cordes plus tard, et j'espère que ce qui m'est arrivé vous arrivera pas, ces pour cela que je poste cet avis.
