Daddario EXL165

Good allround strings that don't cost too much.

I have used these strings on both 4 and 5 string basses for many years and I still like them. They play fine, medium tension I guess. Sound is rather bright. But that won't last. I like them best when that new bright sound has gone. To me that sounds more vintage on my Yamaha BB's. I play mostly soul music but with these strings you can play any style.

They loose that new sound pretty quick. Two to three weeks. Then I play 1 tot 5 hours a week for year before I change them.

Deze snaren verloren de nieuwe snaren klank iets sneller dan andere snaren, markliaaraook nog lekker.

Ik heb er geen verrassingen mee gehad over de tijdat ze er op zitten.

Al met al zeker geen verkeerde koop.
