Uitstekend voor dikke sound
Ik zit in een band waar ik regelmatig drop D speel. Deze set is ontworpen voor lagere tunings maar ik vind de strakke snaren en stemvastheid erg fijn. Nooit meer van die slappe lage snaren.
Benden gaat ook uitstekend op de hogere snaren. Ik moest eventjes wennen om de juiste kracht te vinden maar dat leer je vanzelf! Kost wel wat meer kracht natuurlijk.

OH Gawd mah fingers.,,,
I decided to give this set a try, as my normal set is the 114 (10 to 52).
The 117 sound great, but it does give you the impression a bass might be a better choice :P ....
Too heavy and awkward to play at speed for me, but the sound is awesome.
Also be prepared to do a full set-up on the guitar you put these one, if it is the first time. String height and intonation will be needing attention.

Goede snaren om mee te downtunen
Ik heb deze snaren getest toen ik naar D standaard ging tunen op mijn 6 snaar en vond vooral dat ze goed hun stemming behouden. Ze klinken lekker en doen precies waar ze voor zijn gemaakt!
