Brought my ukulele to life!

Comparing them to the standard Aquila's that come with most new instruments:
- great feel, very smooth.
- nice ring, slightly more mellow than fluorocarbon or Nyltech, but more crispy than (black) nylon.

I use them on a solid spruce top with solid ziricote back and sides, and also on a solid zebrano all around. In both cases with a custom low G.

Good strings but the sound is analytic

This strings have not the normal sound that you would expect from typical ukulele strings. They do not have that warm tone like the famous aquila nylon. They sound very loud and cold. If you think that your ukulele sounds to warm than this strings could be the right choice for you.

Hard to rate strings

They were the same as the last set is as good a review as you get of strings.

I find titanium strings a little dull compared to nylon, but that suits sometimes. Other people say they are brighter so it's very subjective.

Le compromis parfait entre le nylon et le fluorocarbone, elle sont assez grosses, très douces au touché. Après plus de six mois d'utilisation intensive, pas d'usure constaté (tiennent mieux que mes fluorocarbone japonaise habituelles qui sont rincées en trois mois)...super solides!
Le son est puissant en picking, et punchy en strum( sans son parasite comme sur les nylons que je déteste en strumming...).
Bref, agréables pour moi qui suis d'habitude un inconditionnel du fluoro...elle sont parfaite pour mon Kala cedar top qui sonne comme jamais avec un volume inégalé par toute les autres cordes testées (une dizaine à peu près...) hésitez pas à les tester les gars! ;))
