I bought this case for a high quality studio 10m 16 way multicore that I had made. - Where the case is concerned, I wanted something that would achieve the following -
1. Protect the multicore
2. Enable me to stow it away neatly when not in use.
3. Enable me to easily carry the multicore to a remote location for mobile recording.
I have to say that this case fulfills these purposes completely. When I first saw it - it turned out to be much larger than I had initially expected it to be. However, this is probably necessary if it were to accommodate much longer multicores than my particular one. The case itself zips open down the middle of the bag - and opens up like a book would. There is an extra compartment on one side for storing extra bits and pieces and it also comes with a small internal bag - which can be used to insert the multicore tails, to keep them together. The sides are lightly padded and it also comes with a shoulder strap - in case you prefer to carry it that way.
The only thing to watch out for is that the outside of the case can become dirty when it is spread out on the floor -depending on the state of the floor of course. Just be sure to give it a quick wipe to keep it clean. Otherwise - an excellent investment, and I am quite happy with it.
