Clearsonic A1224x3 Amp Shield

I bought two of these: one for the speaker side of my AC30, the other for the open back. To protect them during transport, I had a custom case made so they wouldn’t get scratched or damaged. They’ve been used for about half a dozen gigs, three of which were with that case.

When I opened the case before last night’s show, one of the hinges had completely cracked. A quick fix with gaffa tape got me through the night, but I’m disappointed that I already need to order replacement hinges and deal with repairs after such limited use.

Sound-wise, the panels do what they’re supposed to do, but the hardware doesn’t seem built to last.
