Boss DR-01s

Loads of rhythms, useful for practicing and playing at home. The 4" speaker has enough punch for any acoustic instrument, but also for my electric bass. It excels(!) in the mid-range (conga, bongo, etc) and high-range (shakers, etc). For a more realistic sound of the drum kits, you can easily hook it up to a guitar/bass amplifier. Adding a footswitch makes it even more versatile. When it's switched on but not playing, there's a very slight noise, so it's not studio quality, but that's not what it's made for. I love that it operates on batteries, so it's always ready to play, wherever and whenever you want. I can recommend it to anyone what want to add some rhythm to their (acoustic) instrument when playing at home.
