The beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 is a dynamic, closed-back headset with a 32-ohm impedance rating for tracking and monitoring applications, and it has been a firm fixture of studios across the world since it was released. It provides a good impulse response and outstandingly detailed sound, particularly when paired with mobile end devices like smartphones and laptops. The 80 and 250-ohm models are a better choice for professional studios with high-performance headphone amplifiers, however, since these offer an even better sound and a punchier impulse response.

Quality made in Germany

The beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 is an over-ear headset, but thanks to its soft, replaceable synthetic leather ear pads, both a secure fit and a high level of comfort are ensured even during extended use. It features a single cable connection on the left side, which means it can be put on and taken off frequently without getting caught up in the cable, while the robust and adjustable spring steel headband with its soft padding also makes for excellent durability. And in keeping with beyerdynamic’s constant commitment to quality, the DT 770 Pro has always been hand-built in Germany.

A studio legend

The DT 770 Pro is the closed-back model in beyerdynamic’s DT range, which comprises the 770, 880, and 990 Pro models, and it features a diffuse-field equalized frequency response and offers both maximum flexibility and a detailed sound together with effective ambient noise suppression. All of this makes it a popular choice for monitoring applications and for analysing mixes. The DT 770 Pro accurately reproduces the entire frequency range, lending power and precision to the low end while also delivering clarity and detail in the treble range. The mid frequencies are not 100% linear, however (after all, that would be a little too much to ask at this price point). In addition to studio applications, the DT 770 Pro 32’s frequency response is also ideal for simply listening to music, which makes it a great choice as a hi-fi headset.

About beyerdynamic

beyerdynamic was founded in Berlin in 1924 as a manufacturer of cinema loudspeakers. In 1937, Eugen Beyer developed the DT 48, the first set of dynamic headphones, followed two years later by the M 19 dynamic microphone. After the Second World War, the company moved to Heilbronn, Germany, and now also has a US subsidiary with headquarters in Farmingdale, New York. beyerdynamic's most popular products traditionally include headphones and microphones for both live and studio use, and the company also has a strong presence in the consumer and conference technology sectors as well as in the field of installation microphones, interpreter consoles, and tour guide systems.

The total package

The beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 comes complete with a 1.6-metre straight cable with a soldered 3.5 mm mini-jack, and the cable can be replaced with a little bit of technical prowess. All of the other components (particularly the ear pads) are also replaceable, and the scope of delivery additionally includes a screw-threaded 6.3 mm jack adapter and a drawstring pouch with a transparent label field. At just 317 grams (including the cable), the DT 770 Pro 32 is astonishingly light despite its robust construction, and that means it can be worn without “fatigue” setting in during long studio sessions.

het geluid is zeer goed, ik gebruik deze koptelefoon voor me pc, ps4 en telefoon. Werkt prima.
Enige probleem is dat door de leren earpads mijn oren heet worden na een uur en beginnen te zweten. (fixen door de grijze pads los te kopen van de hogere ohm versies). Het schuifsysteem voor het verstellen schuift soms automatisch uit als ik teveel met me hoofd beweeg. beide problemen kunnen per persoon verschillen aangezien het meer om de vorm van je hoofd gaat.
ik dacht eerst dat de hoofband te dun zou zijn maar dat valt heel erg mee. Deze kun je erafhalen en vervangen als het na een tijdje om de een of andere reden vies wordt.
De kabel op de headset kun je er niet afhalen. dus als de kabel kapot is kun je het niet zo 123 vervangen.

DT-770 32Ohm en 80Ohm een wereld van verschil

Ik heb deze 32Ohm versie gekocht voor het gebruik in combinatie met een mp3 speler. Omdat ik reeds zeer tevreden was over de 80 Ohm versie heb ik niet getwijfeld bij de aankoop van deze hoofdtelefoon.
Maar de 32Ohm versie klinkt toch wel wat anders dan de 80 Ohm versie. In de lage frequenties is de 80Ohm stukken rijker dan deze. Waarbij deze er dan weer uitspringt in het hoog. Beide zijn ze zeer goed maar het is net waar je naar opzoek bent. Persoonlijk houd ik wel van de 32Ohm voor de opnames van vocals. Alle details zijn goed hoorbaar zonder iets van EQ te gebruiken.
Echter voor het mijn oorspronkelijk doel is hij niet echt geschikt. Het uitgaand volume is te laag. De isolatie van omgevingsgeluid is dan weer wel goed net zoals bij zijn broer.
Wat ik wel zeer aangenaam vind is het korte snoer. Deze vind ik veel prettiger voor het algemeen huis, tuin en keuken gebruik.
Net als bij de meeste andere beyerdynamic hoofdtelefoons is ook deze zeer degelijk afgewerkt.

Voor algemeen gebruik verkies ik de 80Ohm versie maar voor enkele specifieke doelen zal ik eerder naar deze versie grijpen.
