Wonderful microphone

Just bought my second one from Thomann, the first one got into my posession from a friend, and for 3 years I could not find an application unsuitable for this absolute gem!
It goes well with whatever you want: snare, guitars, crystal clean vocals, percussion, wind instruments, you name it!
Tops the SM57 in my opinion, and that is one hard mic to beat!

bored with sm57?

r U bored with sm57? try this microphone. I think it records the distorted electric guitar much better sm57, which I also have and use and like.
nice bass response, lots of headroom
sounds very organic
I use it with Randall cabinet for years, always happy with the sound
Highly recommended

It's my new go-to snare mic

Bought on a whim to be alternative to SM57 for snare. Using it now around 3 month and I really like working with it. I can't say there is a major difference between this and the legend SM57, but I feel its easier to get that sound i want, I find I need to sub less eq from low end and I can use slower attack on comp as it seems to handle the initial snap better, perhaps due to it design/capsule. Feels like it can take many a stick strike without any damage, but time will tell

Amazing for snare mics

I compared this with an SM57 and it has a lot more mid presence, so it really brings whatever you're miking to the front of the mix. I would recommend this for recording lead guitar parts instead of rhythm parts. I mainly use this as my snare mic, it really gives it a powerful punch!
Amazing solid build quality, has some weight to it so you know it's a heavy duty mic.
