Arturia taking their cumulative experience developing software and hardware to deliver a synths that really coaxes you to play and experiment.
The keybed won’t be for everyone but is a lot of fun and the synth offers a wealth of sounds that feel rather influenced by the progenitors of the French Touch sound such as Mr.Oizo and Daft Punk.
Surprisingly powerful little synth, along with CV outputs and the SEM style vcf really adding a lot of character, all the above makes this tiny little portable synth sound much bigger and more capable than its understated footprint suggests… and did I mention the keybed is a lot of fun?!

Lekkere intuïtief te bedienen synth
Fijne compacte synth. Toetsen zijn even wennen maar daarna weet je niet beter. Synth werkt gevoelsmatig heel simpel. Prima geluid. Topding

MicroFreak = Top!
Dikke sound, heerlijk expirimenteren, draaien aan de knoppen... Het is bijna meditatie. Erg krachtig zeker voor zijn prijs.

Een inspirerende synth
De Microfreak is een erg inspirerende synthesizer en een genot om mee te werken. Zelfs het keybed vind ik fijn om mee te werken. Jaren terug wel eens video's bekeken van de microfreak, maar de klank en het vreemde keyboard stond me niet echt aan, onlangs toch er een gekocht omdat ik een compacte synth zocht voor onderweg, maar het bleek een erg leuke synth om mee te werken en wil hem nu niet meer kwijt. Echt een leuk ding. Nog geen ervaring met de matrix en presets maken en opslaan, maar dat komt nog wel. Klein nadeel is dat het geluid mono is en geen effecten zoals reverb, delay of chorus aan board heeft.

I have been doubting if I should get one for years, but I'm glad I did. The options are overwhelming and I still have a lot to learn about creating patches on it, but I'm already having a lot of fun modifying the presets and pairing them with different external effects.
