Building on the TS3 series, Alto Professional has launched the TS4 series – even more powerful active speakers with Bluetooth connectivity for streaming, speaker linking, and mobile app integration. As the flagship model, the TS415's remarkable feature set stands out amongst its competitors in this price range. Despite its outstanding performance, the speaker also operates quietly thanks to its fanless design. The TS4's three preset "Speaker Use" modes allow for on-the-fly speaker optimisation for speech and music applications, and the ability to configure and store custom EQs within the free Alto App offers even greater control.

Powerful all-rounder
The TS415 features a lightweight, sleek, black design that can be used as the application demands: Free-standing, as a wedge monitor, mounted on a stand, or suspended via the integrated suspension points. With peak output power of 2500W and a built-in class-D amplifier, the TS415 delivers a sound pressure level of up to 135dB. A 15" woofer with a 2.5" high-temperature voice coil, rated at 800W at 2 ohms, easily takes care of the low end. Above the crossover frequency of 2kHz, the 1" exit ceramic driver with 1.4" coil takes over, with a power rating of 450W at 4 ohms. Once the 17kg, 643 x 417.5 x 402mm speaker has been set up and the power supply connected, two dynamic microphones or line signals can be connected to the two XLR/TRS combo sockets. The TS4's built-in Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to pair a laptop, smartphone, or tablet and start streaming music.

The Alto Pro app, available for iOS and Android, offers extensive remote configuration and control options for even greater refinement of the TS415's sound, as well as providing volume control over Bluetooth audio signals and a selection of ready-made EQ presets, which can also be customised via the app and then saved directly to the speaker itself for convenient recall. Anyone looking to connect a subwoofer to the TS415 via the Mix Out can take advantage of the Sub Size button, which is also accessible via the app, to select a high-pass filter setting based on the size of the subwoofer. Additionally, the Stereo Link button enables the effortless wireless connection of two TS4-series speakers to play music streamed via Bluetooth in stereo sound. For even greater sound pressure, additional speakers can be connected using standard XLR cables to the outputs of two stereo-linked TS4s.
